Found these adorable barrel pants and couldn’t wait to get them! In looking at the description it does say that the fabric is cotton and polymide, and that it is thin; that description is accurate and they will be perfect for summer! The fabric is thin, and has a slight sheen to it, while the color is a true khaki.
It has that wonderful nipped in waist and wide leg that I love, and it has a cute little detail button on the bottom of the legs that can pull them together to make them a balloon shape. These pants have both an internal double slide clasp, as well as a button, making for a lovely flat front fit. The side slit pockets are nice and deep and there are belt loops so you can wear a belt.
As far as size goes, I used the sizing chart. I knew I fell somewhere between a large and an extra large, so I went with the large (I usually wear an 8 in American sizes, occasionally a 10), but it turned out to be a teensy bit tight. I could get them buttoned, but I wouldn’t be comfortable if I had to wear them for too long, or I wanted to breathe deeply LOL so I am returning them for an extra large. They also run a little on the longer side. I am 5’6” and 145 pds, and wear a size 8 in pants, and a large in tops (busty), and my inseam is 31. The inseam on the pants is a 28”, but the rise is 15”, which makes them just a bit too long. Since I like the barrel pants look, I’m just going to flip them up, rather than balloon them.
All in all, I like these pants very much. I just need a larger size so that they fit comfortably loose around my waist, and I look forward to wearing these with a flat sandal and a light gauzy top, or I’ll dress them up with a kitten heel and a cashmere cardigan for evening.
I definitely recommend these pants, just take the time to measure yourself against the chart, and if you lean toward the larger size at all, do size up for the best fit.
I can’t speak to service yet, as I only recorded the pants last night, but we will see!
